This year the Grammy-winning Phoenix Chorale shines a light on the wealth of Spanish and Hispanic music that pertains to this time of year, including three Renaissance motets by Francisco Guerrero, and contemporary folksong arrangements, as well as Ariel Ramirez’s famous La Peregrinaçion. In addition, we commemorate the 150th anniversary of Ralph Vaughan Williams with his nostalgia-fueled Fantasia on Christmas Carols (with organ accompaniment) and dazzling arrangements of Holiday favorite songs including Carol of the Bells and Noche de Paz (Silent Night). The Chorale’s beloved tradition includes audience carol sing. Start practicing!
